Boat Trip

Imagine cruising in a boat on a warm sunny day in Caribbean's where light ocean waves are playing in the heat and sun. Then imagine being on the same boat in the middle of the winter on the open Atlantic Ocean where huge waves are formed by a mad blizzard and you can see nothing at all but the screen of your navigational equipment.

A boat trip can mean an adventure trip to an unknown island or a simple fishing trip just out off the dock. A boat trip can also be a race against the clock or against other boats or it can be the opposite where you want to be alone without any worry of time or commitment.

	Reykjavik Speedboats Speed boating is quite popular in the Reykjavik area. My brother in law owns a small speed boat and often takes it out for a spin and uses the opportunity to catch a few fishes.
	Whale Watching Whale watching is great way to experience the largest animals on Earth. Just off the north coast of Iceland are regions where whales are plenty. We got invited to take a trip with a company that specialize in whale watching tours.
	Speed Boating in Thingvallavatn Thingvallavatn is one of the most magical lakes in Iceland. It is the place where the oldest parliament in Europe was established before the year 1000 and it is the place where you can literally see the continents of Europe and America drift apart.
	Eyjafjörður Boat Trip Two of the brand new designed Boat2Fish 25 - Seigur 750 are to be delivered to their new owners in Ólafsfjörður. The boats are built for sea-anglers and are pretty basic. A total of 22 boats are to be made and they have been mostly booked for this summer.
	Hornstrandir Iceland Hornstrandir are at the northernmost part of the Westfjords of Iceland. Just south of the Arctic circle it is extremely remote and most of it is completely uninhabited. At the same time the beauty of the area is amazing and leaves nobody that visits untouched.
	Iceland Boat Trip This years first boat trip has been on schedule for some days. Perlen N-5-BR is a brand new Boat2Fish 33 - Seigur 1000 and is going to its future home in Norway. The plan is to put it on the Smyril Line ferry to Norway. Perlen is made in Reykjavík and the ferry sails from Seyðisfjörður - on the far east side of Iceland.
